Beijing Energy Detection
Technology Inc. (BET) is a joint-venture limited liability company, registered
in Zhong guan cun New and High Technology Development
Zone of Beijing, the People’s Republic of China. BET is a high-tech enterprise.
BET and its research, development and manufacture base are located in Beijing Airport
Industrial Development Zone, covering a total area of 7200 m2 and a
floor space of 4800 m2.
BET is specialized in research, development, manufacture and
integration of industrial detection technology. It has two large laboratories
of nuclear detection, the Cobalt-60 source laboratory of 350 m2, and
the x-ray source laboratory (high energy) of 800 m2. Besides, BET
has divisions and laboratories of detectors, nuclear control, image data acquisition
and processing, fine machinery, nuclear protection and anti-corrosion with
conventional and special instruments and equipment.
BET has got the support of Beijing Municipal Government, Civil
Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), Ministry of Public Security of the
People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s
Republic of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and China Institute of Atomic
Energy, etc. BET is awarded with the work permits for applications of gamma ray
isotope sources and high energy x-ray sources. BET is a
ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 14001: 2004 organization. The products manufactured by
BET are CE certified. The products manufactured by BET are ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 certified.
The radiation source shielding with one isotope source and two ray
slits (with an angle of 30 degrees) and the shielding with two isotope sources
and two ray slits (with a horizontal and vertical angle of 90 degrees) originally
developed by BET are patented of invention and utility. BT-SCAN-VI/4 dual-view
air cargo scanning system passed the qualification test by CAAC in 2008 and it
is the first system certified by CAAC.
BET develops and produces accelerator based high energy fixed,
gantry, mobile, portal and air cargo x-ray scanning systems, 7.5/4MeV, 6MeV,
4MeV and 2MeV. BET also produces micro-dose x-ray scanning systems with x-ray
generators of 90KeV, 160KeV, 200KeV and 320KeV and tunnel openings of 55×40cm,
65×50cm, 80×60cm, 80×80cm,100×80cm,
100×100cm, 150×180cm, 180×180cm and 244×244cm, etc.
In the year of 2001: radiation source shielding with one source
and one ray slit.
In the year of 2002: fixed container vehicle scanning system.
In the year of 2004: radiation source
shielding with one source and two ray slits patented of invention and awarded
with gold medal of Hong Kong International Patent Expo.
In the year of 2006: BT-SCAN-VI/4 dual-view
air cargo scanning system which passed the qualification test by CAAC.
From 2005 to 2008: Participated in
preparation and formulation of CAAC standard of civil aviation cargo container
security inspection devices.
In the year of 2008: BT-SCAN-VI/4 dual-view
air cargo scanning system certified by CAAC (Application Permit No. 15 and No.
39).
In the year of
2008: BT-65 x-ray scanning system exported to the United Kingdom.
In the year of 2008: 18 automatic mail
sorting lines with BT x-ray scanning systems put into operation at the custom
checkpoint in Dajingju Logistic Park in Dongguan (Shitong International Railway Express Mail Center),
Guangzhou Province, China.
In the year of 2009: X-ray Scanning System
integrated with transmission and back scatter detection technology, which has independent
intellectual property.
In the year of 2009: BT-M/X-4.5 (4.5MeV )linear accelerator based mobile x-ray scanning system
exported to the United States of America.
In the year of 2009: High energy linear accelerators,
4MeV to 6MeV, developed.
In the year of 2009: Betatron
(7.5/4MeV) bade dual energy x-ray scanning systems developed.
In the year of 2010: BT-65DV and BT-100DV
dual view x-ray scanning systems developed.
In the year of 2010: BT-M/X-6060CB and
BT-M/X-8080CB mobile x-ray scanning systems integrated with transmission and
back scatter technology to detect drug developed and sold in the market.
In the year of 2010: BT-65 bag and BT-100XD
cargo x-ray scanning systems used in the Asian Games Guangzhou.
In the year of 2011: BT-100XD cargo x-ray
scanning systems exported to the Southeastern Asian countries.
In the year of 2011: 2 units of BT-P/X-B Betatron (7.5/4MeV) based dual view portal x-ray
scanning systems exported to Malaysia and put into operation in June 2012.
In the year of 2012: BT-55 x-ray scanning
systems exported to Singapore.
In the year of 2012: BT-65 bag and BT-100
cargo x-ray scanning systems purchased by General Administration of Customs of
the People’s Republic of China.
In the year of 2012: The contract of one BT-SCAN-VI/4
dual-view air cargo scanning system awarded by Guangzhou Baiyun
International Airport Co. Ltd and the system put into operation in 2013.
In the year of 2013: One unit of BT-P/X-B Betatron ( 7.5/4MeV)based dual
view portal x-ray scanning system exported to the United States of America.
In the year of 2014: The contract of
BT-G/X-B Betatron(7.5/4MeV) based gantry x-ray scanning systems awarded by
the Singapore Government and it will be put into operation in June 2015. Put
into use in April 2016, the second the same equipment.
In the year of 2015: 2 sets of BT-M /8080 χ
ray security car in the Hong Kong government procurement project bidding, put
into use in October 2016.
In December 2016: The contract of BT-P/X-B Betatron(7.5/4MeV)
based Portal x-ray scanning systems awarded by the Singapore Government and it
will be put into operation in 2016. Put into use in April 2017, the second the same
equipment.
In May 2018: The contract of two
BT-P/X-B Betatron based portal x-ray scanning systems
awarded by the Island in Singapore
In June 2018: The contract of
BT-P/X-B Betatron based portal x-ray scanning systems
awarded by the Zhong He Logistics Park in Xin Jiang province in China
In Nov 2019: one set of BT-P/X (7.5/4mev dual energy) portal container vehicle safety inspection system, participate in Singapore customs third channel procurement project bidding, which will be put into use in the second half of 2020.
In Dec 2019: one set of BT-P/X (7.5/4mev dual energy) portal container vehicle safety inspection system, participate in the bidding of Malaysian customs procurement project, which will be put into use in the second half of 2020.
In Dec 2020: The company has developed cargo security information management system and passenger hand baggage security information management system, which have been put into use in many airports in China.
In Apr 2021: The company has completed the intelligent upgrading and transformation of 394 old X-ray inspection machines of different brands from 39 Chinese customs directly under the Company, which are distributed in 181 locations (airports, docks and border throughout the country.
In Sep 2021: The company developed 33 sets of security conveyor belt system matching with the passenger baggage security information management system has been put into use in Guiyang Airport.

Government is as follows:
l 18 units
of high energy (1.25MeV, gamma ray) isotope based
container scanning systems, including fixed, gantry, mobile, portal and air
cargo.
l 14 units
of high energy 2MeV to 7.5MeV, x-ray) isotope based
container scanning systems, including fixed, gantry, mobile, portal and air
cargo.
l 200 units
of conventional single view and dual view x-ray scanning systems, transmission
and back scatter, with x-ray generators of 90KeV, 160KeV, 225KeV and 320KeV.
